Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Nrisco Home Care collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers both clients who book services and care professionals who work through the platform.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. Who we are
Nrisco Home Care operates an online platform that connects households with verified home care professionals — maids, nurses, caregivers, cooks and babysitters. For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for the information described below. We operate from Hyderabad, India.
2. Information we collect
From everyone with an account
- Identity and contact details — your name, email address and mobile number.
- Account credentials — your password, stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never store it in a readable form and cannot recover it for you.
- Sign-in activity — the time of your last login.
If you book services (clients)
- Address details — the address, city and PIN code where the service is to be delivered.
- Booking details — the service requested, date, time, duration and any special instructions you write.
- Payment records — amounts, payment status, payment mode and transaction references, together with the invoices we raise.
- Support history — complaints you raise and ratings or written feedback you leave.
- Demographic detail — gender, where you choose to provide it.
If you work through the platform (care professionals)
- Profile details — address, city, PIN code, date of birth, gender, years of experience, skills, availability and preferred working location.
- Verification documents — identity and address documents you upload, and the outcome of our checks.
- Payout details — bank name, account number and IFSC code, used solely to pay you.
- Work record — jobs assigned and completed, ratings received and total earnings.
Collected automatically
- Activity logs — significant actions taken in your account (sign-in, bookings, status changes) together with your IP address, kept for security and dispute resolution.
- Session cookie — a single cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary; without it the site cannot work.
3. Why we use it
- To create and operate your account and authenticate you.
- To take bookings, match a suitable verified professional, and deliver the service at your address.
- To take payment, raise invoices and pay care professionals.
- To verify the identity and background of care professionals — which is the core safety promise of the platform.
- To handle complaints, ratings and support requests.
- To send service notifications about your bookings, and password-reset emails you request.
- To detect misuse, investigate disputes and meet legal or tax obligations.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Between client and assigned professional — when a booking is assigned, the professional receives the service address and the contact details needed to carry out the work, and you receive theirs. This is the minimum required for the service to happen.
- Our administrators — staff with an operational need can view booking, payment, complaint and verification records.
- Service providers — our hosting provider, and the email provider that sends transactional email such as password resets.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate a safety incident.
5. Third parties whose code runs on this site
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — serves the icon font used across the site. Loading it discloses your IP address to Cloudflare.
- Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles the authentication and shares your basic profile with us. Google's own privacy policy applies to what they do with that.
- Analytics — this site loads Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager only when a measurement ID has been configured by the operator. If you can see no analytics script in the page source, none is running.
6. How long we keep it
Account, booking, payment and invoice records are retained while your account is open and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep financial records or may need them to resolve a dispute. Verification documents for care professionals are kept for as long as the professional is active on the platform. Activity logs are kept for security and audit purposes. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you.
7. Security
Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Database queries use bound parameters so that submitted data cannot be interpreted as commands. Every part of the site that shows personal data requires you to be signed in, and access is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects you we will tell you.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and correct most of your details yourself from your profile page. Subject to the law that applies to you, you can also ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond. Note that we may need to keep some records — invoices in particular — even after you close your account.
9. Children
The platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Where a booking concerns the care of a child, the account and the information belong to the parent or guardian making the booking.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be notified to you directly.
